Two hoodlums.

Bobby and Danny woke up the neighborhood with some early morning honking during their moms' Baby Boot Camp class last weekend. But they had a great time!

Nerd alert!

Bobby is already exhibiting nerdy tendencies like trying to borrow Dada's glasses all the time.

Fearless boy.

Bobby loves the "lide"!

Bathtime!

Clean after a bath.... Who needs clothes?

A trip to the Zoo!

We are now have a family pass to the San Francisco Zoo! We went last weekend with the Goldsteins for "Boo at the Zoo!" Halloween weekend. Bobby loved the "Little Puffer" train, despite his solemn face in this picture.

Bobby and Isabelle riding a bear.

Looking at the real "Dodos!" (Bobby's word for gorilla, based on his stuffed gorilla whom we named "Coco" but which evolved to "Dodo" because he couldn't make the "c" sound.)

Trying on Mama's hat before we left. It almost fits!

Isabelle and Bobby, now on the hippo.

Ros and Joakim's wedding!

Bobby and Jaxon were ringbearers for Ros and Joakim's wedding.... Amazingly, they managed to walk the aisle in the ankle-deep Crissy Field grass without falling, thanks to Cousin Andy's help. More pics to follow!

Bobby loves reading these days.

Bobby's first birthday!

Gma and Great-Grandma-Gretch flew up from San Diego for Bobby's first birthday weeekend!

Before the party, Bobby and Gma played at the park.

Now that he's one, Bobby is working on some new milestones.... Not sure that telling time will be one of them, but this clock is sure fun!

Look at all the baaaahs!

Birthday boy hat!

(Guess how long this stayed on?)

Grandma Caroline brought beautiful balloons.

Bobby and Isabelle!

Janet, Garry, Nadia, and Diego came!

The balloons were a big hit.

Getting ready to try some cake....

The big boys lining up for cake: Diego, Jack, Alex....

Not a big fan of cake, it turns out.

Carrots are much better. (Dad's not so sure.)

Vacation in Cazenovia

We had a wonderful time in Cazenovia, New York with our old friends from college days. There were lots of new additions to celebrate over the past year, Bobby among them!

Bobby and Dada in the hammock.

A lake, boats, lots of friends, and sunny sky overhead -- all the ingredients of a perfect vacation!

Jasper preferred not to wear pants the entire vacation. Bobby is thankfully too little to have these sort of preferences about the ridiculous sunhat we made him wear.

Isabelle and Zoe!

Gina taught Bobby how to kick a soccer ball!

Relaxing afternoons.

Lawn jarts and 1-year-olds.... Please note that both of these children have doctors as parents.

Pete and Cassia prepared a clambake our first night.... Asher wasn't allowed to have any lobster yet. Next year, big guy!

Nothing beats reading in a hammock....

Cathleen's Story Hour.

Oliver, Gina, and the swing.

Lunchtime.

The big kids: Gina, Oliver, Zoe, and Tyler.

The littlest kid: Baby Quinn, ~9 weeks.

Bobby loved his first boat ride!

Asher was a fantastic skipper -- very smooth ride.

First camping trip to Pinnacles National Monument.

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with Ros, Joakim, Tony, and Davinia car-camping at Pinnacles National Monument! Bobby took to camping like a duck to water (perhaps more like a piglet to a mudpile?). There was no shortage of dirt on this trip, as Bobby was pleased to discover.... Thanks for a great weekend, guys!

Just hangin' out at the campsite....

Camping is dirty business.

Some people don't mind it, though.

Dirt is good for you!

Rock formations at Pinnacles National Monument.
Igneous or metamorphic? Don't ask me -- I can't even say "rock" yet!

Bobby and Uncle Joakim.

Pretty happy with this whole hiking business.

Family pic.

Cooling down by the pool. (It was an ool before Bobby put the p in it.)

Bobby slept well in a tent!

Helping with the dishes.
